What differentiates concept3D SketchUp & Google Earth training from other Google Authorized Training Companies?

There is definitely a wealth of knowledge and a variety of training solutions with all the Google ATCs out there. The core strengths of concept3D's training are that our trainers have not only been teaching SketchUp & Google Earth since 2002, they use both applications (and many more) on real-world projects daily. The extensive concept3D library on the 3D Warehouse clearly illustrates that. We work with our students before and after each training to offer the best overall training experience. An hour of time is dedicated to each hands-on, full-day class specifically for questions, answers and custom training.

What is included in a typical class?

Each full-day class consists of a morning and afternoon session of Google certified training. Six AIA/ASLA CEUs are offered for registered architects and landscape architects. As our classes have evolved, we have learned that dutifully going through the Google-authored material only provides so much value. Equally important are the curve-ball questions asked by the students. Class participants are encouraged to bring their questions. If we cannot provide help in the dedicated hour of custom training, we will do our best to find the solution for follow-up communication. Our training doesn't start and end with just a single class.

What is the difference between a Brown Bag Session and a normal training class?

Our Brown Bag Session is our way of staying in tune with the creative community. We visit firms over the lunch hour and share our SketchUp and Google Earth tips and tricks while learning about some really cool projects. We sure do! Our trainers have administered custom training workshops to over a hundred private design firms, government planning agencies, famous resort and theme parks, and even academy-award winning animation studios.
